About Power of the Flower

Our mission is to connect, educate, and heal our fellow citizens through cannabis education. In July 2021, our Commonwealth became the first southern state to free cannabis. For the first time since colonists settled in Jamestown, we are able to legally grow cannabis plants on Virginia soil. Adult-use will soon become a brand new market and industry, with potentially millions in tax dollars for state, county and city budgets. There is more and more evidence-based data that proves how the medicinal benefits of cannabis could potentially save thousands of lives.  There's a lot for us to talk about and share, so we invite you to tune into Power of the Flower and join the conversation!

ABOUT THE FOUNDER AND HOST

J is a fierce cannabis warrior and passionate about removing the negative stigma around this ancient medicinal plant. She graduated in May 2022 from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy with a Master of Science degree in Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics. J also has a Bachelor of Science in the Administration of Justice from the Pennsylvania State University.  J is dedicated to sharing medical-based evidence about the healing benefits of cannabis and helping curious cannabis warriors to make safe choices if they decide to explore cannabis medicine as a treatment option.

 

Power of the Flower is J's passion project, and she hopes to bring together the cannabis community in our collective passion to free cannabis.
